At the GREEN ROOM, we strive to ignite passion and cultivate excellence in music through personalised, focused instruction and the fostering of a lifelong love of music in students of all ages.

Individual lessons are offered in the following: 

Piano, Voice, Keyboard, Recorder, Drums

Cello, Violin, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele

Composition, Film Scoring and Songwriting

Music Theory, FET Subject Music Tutoring

Fee Structure for 2026

This calculation of fees provides for 36 half-hour sessions per year and payment is spread over 12 months with pre-dated payments. For practical purposes, this payment should be scheduled by the first week of the month. One school period = one lesson. Fees amount to R231 per lesson (individual) and R189 per lesson (group lesson).

The rates for 2026 will be as follows:

Individual tuition: 12 monthly debit orders of R693 each 

Group lesson: 12 monthly debit orders of R567 each 

Tuition fees will remain the same from month to month, regardless of the number of lessons that month, as the calculations are spread over the entire year. All lessons take place at the school on the Van Riebeeck Strand Primary School campus.

A two-month notice period is required to terminate lessons.
